Heated Vinyasa and Heated Fundamentals
Classes are structured to work strength and circulation in the muscles, optimize physical alignment, and use breath along with grounding and self-discipline to change the body. Temperatures in the studio range 95*-100* and the use of humidifiers will get you sweating! Vinyasa classes combine breath and movement with a series of postures to create flow. Fundamental classes add a bit of flow to a series of postures building up to a peak posture.
Yin Flow and Yin
These classes are non heated and designed to work suppleness, hydration, and nourishment into the joints and muscle fascia. Breath work and postures focus on tension release, relaxation and unconditional acceptance through observance. Mindfulness, mediation, and a quiet environment work to calm the nervous system.
Warm and Gentle
Not sure where to start? Whether you are new to yoga, new to the studio, or just want to ease into practice, then Warm and Gentle is for you. Temperature is kept between 85*-90*, however with a bit of movement you might find that you'll break a sweat. Slower movement through postures provides time to adjust and find correct alignment in the body.
Dynamic and physically demanding practice synchronizes breath and movement to produce an internal heat designed to purify the body. Classes are great for building core strength and toning the body through swift breath and a set sequence. Originally founded by K. Pattabhi Jois.
Back to Basics
Whether you are new to yoga or wanting to work on your skills, this is a class for all levels! Bring focus to the various components of your yoga practice and go deeper into the Hatha style format.
Wind down your week! This Friday evening class is 75 minutes long and has a bit of warmth, movement and breath, followed by deeper stretches designed to get you ready for the weekend. Students of all levels welcome.
Zen Yoga & Sound Therapy
In nature, vibrations travel via water and air and resonate around 432 MHz which has been scientifically proven to synchronize (entrain) the brain back to its normal state of feeling centered, balanced, conscious and peaceful.
While the science behind how and why vibrations through sound can heal the body/mind/spirit is well founded, there is no substitution for the experience of each individual.
