Arthritis restricts movement due to the inflammation of the joints as well as the deterioration of bones and joints.
Yoga has been proven to reduce arthritis-related pain, improve joint function, build strength and promote relaxation, lower stress and tension and promote better sleep.
Rhonda is certified in Adaptive Yoga, has over 16 years of experience as a neuromuscular therapist and is also afflicted with arthritis. Through her studies and with her personal experience, she will show you how to safely move through gentle, flowing poses that can be less stressful on sore joints than other types of movement.
