Getting started at Yoga Mountain Shadows is fun and easy! We have a variety of class offerings to suit your ability and experience. Whether you're looking for heated, non-heated or something more warm and gentle, we can help you find a class consistent with your needs and desires.

Do I need to register ahead of time?

It helps our teachers if you register ahead of time using the Mindbody website or app. With COVID-19, classes are capped and some classes are meeting full capacity. Registering ahead of time ensures you receive a spot in class.

What if I've never done yoga before?

Don't worry, we love beginners! We always suggest the Warm and Gentle or the Heated Slow Burn classes for beginners. Talk with one of our teachers and they can steer you in the right direction!

Should I bring my own mat? What if I don't have a mat?

We highly recommend bringing your own mat (and any other gear you'd like) to make your practice more comfortable. We have studio mats that you can borrow and plenty of props to help you ease into your practice.

What else should I bring to class?

Water, layers for non-heated classes or for after heated classes, and a towel if you desire.
